House View
Define the house view
before scaling the private markets conversation
Clear language & operating logic for private markets
Firms want advisers to handle private markets confidently, but have not fixed the internal answer to a fundamental question: what exactly is our approved position, and how should it be applied?
Our House View Diagnostic and Development service targets a clear operating framework. It clarifies areas such as the role of private markets, approved language around fit and boundaries, and the triggers for escalation or exception handling.
The result is not just a document. It is a working internal reference point for advice, investment, product, compliance, leadership and adviser professional-development.
We operate a twin-track house-view analysis
Our Private Markets House-View Analysis is a verification-led audit drawing on public and internal information to ensure a joined-up policy on private markets that links aspects such as house-perspective, ownership, client suitability, liquidity management, valuation governance, conflicts handling and adviser enablement.
The analysis is conducted on two levels:
-
This looks at aspects such as ‘Current Outlook’ cadence; named ownership; private-markets articulation; suitability guidance and transmission into portfolios.
-
This covers structures, liquidity controls, valuation governance, diligence/conflicts and people/review controls
The outcomes of this process include a gap analysis; recommendations; a half/one day workshop with C-suite and leadership team; and supplementary sales enablement documentation, as required.
The results of the process are then embedded in our training programme (see ‘Accelerate’)
